The company in object made us a request of oenological equipments planned to follow traditional working proceedings in use in the French region of Champagne, but personalized in accordance with own industrial necessities. The system was structured in order to manage accurately all the working phases, from the entry of grapes up to the evacuation of exhausted grape-skins, also checking the made quantities and tracing the operative way up to the apposite tank for stockage.
The grapes were first rigorously collected selecting the best bunches in the vineyard, than transported in boxes and lastly put on a lifted up platform entirely constructed in stainless steel and equipped with apposite automatic gates that determined the limits of the areas designed to each of the six pneumatic presses Avant FR. These presses were designed to work entire grapes loaded in boxes and had three radial sliding doors on the surface of the tank, that was realized with a 180° punched plate and without inner grooves. The hatches opened and closed through a pneumatic system placed outside the tank perimeter, avoiding each form of pollution that could generate for contacts with no alimentary substances.
The managing of pressing programs was explicitly requested from the responsible of the cellar who monitored all the working procedures.
Every machine had three must stocking tank that allowed the division of every working phase.
Musts coming from the reception hopper were managed through level sensors and a specific pump; Moreover it was possible, through a specific dosing pump based on liters, to inoculate fit products suitable for the conservation of juices.
Pressing managing programs supplied in the model Avant FR allowed grapes working increasing the pressure inside the machine without passing through the phase of crumbling. This was a special proceeding that avoided oxidations and the creation of dregs, in order to obtain an high quality product that perfectly corresponded to all customers’ expectations. The exhausted grape-skins unloading was realized by means of a screw disposed all along the whole length of the system, conveying outside the structure. Various optional complements and accessories included in the supply satisfied fully customer’s expectations who evidenced this aspect in some articles published on the national press.
