The area, separated in two levels, has been equipped as follows: the realization of the system has been planned positioning the mechanical part of presses on the top floor and the electronic managing part, such as controls panels, reception hoppers, must control devices etc, on the ground floor.
Moreover we have realized a loft entirely constructed in stainless steel as passage to the different grapes loading areas in the presses and designed to support the weight of elevation means and other working equipments. Our machines belong to the typology Franciacorta, that means that have been specifically designed for hand collected grapes. The 12 tons capacity tank, with three radial sliding doors allows the loading of entire grapes without necessity to turn the press, avoiding the creation of dregs and suspended substances.
The working program, in accordance with the regulations in force in the region of Champagne, allows the extraction of musts avoiding mixing of grapes, producing must without using yeasts or specific substances that enable the fermentation.
A special must control device with specific sensors that measure the quantity, selects the operating way and informs the operator about the phases of pressing. An used up grape-skins unloading system has been fixed to the presses’ frames so that all the components, machines and accessories, are lifted up from the ground to allow the passage of working machines.
