I Magredi wine-cellar decided to wide the red grapes fermentation area by increasing the number of modern and technological tanks, but there was the problem to transport on tubes the grape-skins to exhaust, because of the excessive distance of the new fermentation zone from the old pressing area.
We solved this problem by positioning near the fermentation area a 250hl capacity press, equipped with a stainless steel frame to support bad weather conditions and designed to charge the whole quantity of product coming from a 750hl fermentation tank.
To avoid the creation of compressed air lines, we equipped the press with a 15kW incorporated pressing compressor.
In comparison to the standard supply, the added expense allowed to save on the costs of accessories (installations) guaranteeing a perfect and optimal functionality.
